The Marque at Heritage Hunt

To put things lightly, construction at The Marque at Heritage Hunt had begun to unravel. Small annoyances and disagreements had quickly multiplied into a crushing migraine for its Owners. Two months after the scheduled completion date, construction was only half finished. Stacks of change orders lay on their desks. Disputed claims worth 25 percent of the original contract remained unresolved. Just one of the many problems involved ground water under completed buildings. Arbitration - and potential litigation - loomed.

We assumed the role of Owners' Agency CM, and our tasks were clear: Evaluate and oversee recovery schedule compliance. Manage existing change orders. Correct the ground water problem. And lead the Owner, Architect, and General Contractor toward resolution of as many disputes as possible, before litigation delayed construction even more.

We made ourselves available to the Owner on an "on-call" basis, and before long, the project came to completion. Litigation, thankfully, was avoided. During the necessary post-construction arbitration process, we provided expert witness and Owner support services.
