The Challenge
Twelve months, $30 million dollars of work, almost no contingency and an 1800's historic building. Schaefer Construction Management acted as the owner's representative , sitting in on all progress meetings and owner's meetings, championing the need for cost containment and adhereance to the project schedule. The general contractor, Architect and MEP Engineeris were all firms Schaefer Construction Management had worked with previously (McDonogh, BSO, Marriott)
The Result
The schedule was met and the change order costs were capped at 4%. Baltimore Center Stage re-opened on time and is a beautiful, state-of the art Facility.
